The Yumtone H4 is a retro 1980s Japanese synthesizer library built for Kontakt, capturing the essence of the Yamaha Electone HC-4 introduced in 1987. This synthesizer, known for its two 44-note keybeds, foot pedal system, drum/rhythm machine, and 16-operator FM voices, is a treasure trove of digital sounds. Our library includes a rich array of synth sustains, staccatos, piano, vibraphone, bells, drum machine loops, hits, and key SFX, all recorded in wide stereo and direct line in.
We have meticulously crafted 20 evolving ambient pads and 20 custom FX presets from the source content to enhance usability and inspire creativity. The Yumtone H4 offers a diverse sampler platter of classic FM synthesizer tones, perfect for complementing any music genre with its unique and vibrant sounds.
The library's GUI is packed with sound-shaping controls, allowing extensive flexibility in warping sounds. Users have control over Volume, Attack, Release, Transient Offset, Vibrato, and Octave layering. The "Glide" control slider enables legato and portamento leads. The adaptable LFO system features selectable LFO shape, modulation target parameter, speed, intensity, tempo-syncing, and fade-in time. Additionally, the library includes 13 lowpass, high-pass, and FX filters with assignable modulation control options, including velocity, modwheel, expression, after-touch, key position, and step-sequencer table control. The customizable arpeggiator includes a built-in velocity sequencer table with control over arp direction, note timing, swing, randomization, and duration.
