BHS Sold is a TH-U expansion library, created by Big Hairy Sounds, that recreates the sound of legendary guitarists from the ’80s and ’90s like Steve Lukather, Lynch, Moore, Knopfler, and Michael Landau, whose tones were based on Soldano* amplifiers.

- Soldano SLO-100*: 100w guitar head with factory Depth and Mid-Scoop mods, offering clear and robust cleans and exceptional crunch tones.
- Sold88 X88r*: Tones created using multiple speakers, mics, and cabinets, including rigs of other classic “Sold” style tones.
- Hiwatt DR* Front End with SLO Power Section: A unique setup that combines Hiwatt* front end with SLO power, running 5881/6L6 tubes, and linked inputs for Normal and Bright channels, reminiscent of David Gilmour’s setup.
- Micropitch Pedal: A brand new modulation pedal that reproduces the typical ’80s and ’90s chorusing effect by detuning one channel over the other using a pitch shifter, essential for Eventide-style modulation.
This library contains 179 Rigs and 75 patches focused on recreating ’80s and ’90s setups, capturing the essence of the era’s iconic guitar tones.
This library requires one of the following TH-U versions: TH-U Full, TH-U Rock, TH-U Metal, or TH-U Funk and R&B.

Both the Windows and Mac versions of TH-U Full can be authorized on up to three computers and one USB stick with a simple one-click software procedure, no hardware key needed. Compatibility includes AudioUnit, VST, AAX32 (ProTools 10.3.5 and above), AAX64 (ProTools 11 and 12) plugins, and a standalone application. Note: Both 32bit and 64bit are natively supported for all systems.
