Dusty Racks Vol. 2 – IR Library for Rematrix

Dusty Racks Vol. 2 is a REmatrix library featuring studio reverbs from the ’80s and ’90s classics. This collection includes 350 impulse responses (IRs) captured from six unique and nearly forgotten reverb units, providing valuable tools for achieving creative sounds in today’s music scene.

Dusty Racks Vol. 2 was created by capturing IRs from the following units:

• Yamaha REV500* (92 IRs)
• Alesis Midiverb* II (43 IRs)
• Lexicon 300* (129 IRs)
• Pioneer SR-101* (9 IRs)
• Roland DEP-3* (39 IRs)
• Korg DRV2000* (38 IRs)

The IRs were recorded using Neve and SSL preamps and carefully edited to ensure consistency throughout the entire library. This collection also includes 207 individual presets, created during real mixing sessions with a focus on vocals, keyboards, synths, drums, and acoustic instruments.

The IRs are divided into two banks:

• Single IR presets designed to replicate the original vibe of the unit.
• Multilayer bank combining two or more IRs from different units, extending the tonal palette and creating unprecedented reverb spaces.

This library includes the REmatrix player plug-in, allowing you to load and use any IR and preset from Dusty Racks 2. For full control over the sound, Dusty Racks 2 can also be loaded into the full version of REmatrix (separate purchase required).
