TAL-Sampler is more than just a sample player; it’s a fully-featured analog-modeled synthesizer with a sampler engine at its core. Combining a powerful modulation matrix and high-quality self-oscillating filters, TAL-Sampler offers musicians an intuitive and creative sampling experience. Its design emphasizes the joy of traditional sampling, making it easy to load small samples quickly and create presets without getting lost in complex settings.

This sampler offers a unique feature that sets it apart: the ability to select different digital-to-analog converter (DAC) modes, simulating the vintage sound of hardware samplers. Unlike simple bit-crushing, TAL-Sampler actually down-samples audio to achieve the desired frequency, then processes it according to the selected DAC mode, recreating the warmth and character of vintage samplers.

The plug-in supports up to four layers, allowing users to play multiple samples simultaneously. It also includes a simple SFZ import function for mapping samples, along with an intuitive mapping editor for custom setups. In addition, users can modulate sample loop positions and enjoy a real-time time stretcher that provides that authentic old-school vibe.

Users can drag and drop samples directly into the plugin from Finder or Explorer, and the integrated sample browser helps to quickly find the right sample. TAL-Sampler supports all common sample formats, including WAV, AIFF, MP3, OGG, and FLAC.
