Each module in Nepheton is fully synthesized, delivering the classic TR-808 sound with the ability to tweak tone, envelope, and more. Additionally, you can take advantage of its flexible output system, where each sound can be routed to any of the 12 available outputs, offering ultimate flexibility in your mixes. You can even configure each output as mono or stereo, and for the purists, the original Trigger output has been faithfully included and is fully configurable.

MIDI control in Nepheton is comprehensive. You can use it to trigger individual modules externally or control them using Nepheton’s internal clock or by syncing it to your host sequencer. Most parameters can be automated within the host, and MIDI Learn functionality makes reassignment of controls seamless. The built-in internal sequencer supports up to 96 simple patterns and 16 extended patterns, complete with advanced shuffle, randomization, and tap modes to inspire creativity.

Whether you’re replicating the original 808 vibe or pushing the boundaries of rhythmic creativity, Nepheton offers an incredible level of flexibility and control. With its ability to export patterns as XML files, sharing and collaborating with other producers is easier than ever.
