The XILS 3 V2.0 is more than just an emulation of the classic Synthi (VCS 3) modular synthesizer; it’s a powerhouse of analog synthesis, expanded and reimagined for modern sound designers and musicians. Not only does it faithfully recreate the iconic VCS 3, but it also integrates an accurate emulation of the 256 Analog Sequencer, the original companion of the VCS 3.

Going beyond the original hardware, XILS 3 V2.0 introduces a SECOND Matrix, offering additional envelopes, an LFO, a comprehensive Sample and Hold module, and a Voltage Processor. The inclusion of extra input modules—such as Gate, Transient, Envelope Follower, and Pitch Tracker—allows for hundreds of additional connections. With the Analog Chorus (featuring three distinct modes) and Analog Delay, you have endless opportunities to manipulate and craft sounds in ways previously impossible.
