The Jensen Vintage Alnico P15N IR Library is a comprehensive capture of the Vintage Alnico P15N speaker from the Vintage Series, installed in a 1×15″ Open Back cabinet. This library includes a total of 608 IRs, meticulously developed in collaboration with a Jensen Speakers product specialist to recreate the most authentic playing experience, as if you were playing through an original speaker.

One of the first speakers ever used in a guitar amplifier, the P15N was loaded in the earliest Fender Bassman™ and Bandmaster™ amps, setting the milestone for those classic tones. The P15N delivers a warm, full-bodied tone, with deep basses and a nice, extended top end, making it excellent for all different shades of clean and pushed clean tones. Captured using the classic 19 microphones/16 positions Overloud process, this library showcases the superb tonal qualities of the P15N.

Also Includes The Remastered Version: This library also includes remastered versions of all the IRs. The vintage Jensen speakers were designed mainly for clean tones, producing bright, clear, and detailed sound with a significant treble response. However, in modern high gain applications, this energy in the treble range can result in an overly bright and aggressive tone. To address this, we offer a “Remastered” option with a finely tuned top-end response, making the IRs suitable for contemporary, higher gain applications. This virtual “aged tone” offers a whole new range of sounds for various applications, effectively doubling the IRs in the library with the “Remastered” versions.
