Handsome Dan is a creation from master instrument inventor Bart Hopkin. This unique stringed Zither features a flat wooden sound box with 14 strings, divided into two segments by a center bridge. A magnetic pickup is placed on one side, while the strings are primarily played on the other side, usually with a slide or plectrum. The result is a dreamy and ethereal tone, with a floating, swelling presence.
