Rainsong is a meticulously crafted collection of rain audio files created during the Rainy Day songwriting competition in April 2020. Each nature field recording has been carefully captured in wide stereo, featuring a variety of immersive rain sounds, including rain hitting car hoods, downspouts, traffic, thunderstorms, bird calls in the forest, and more. After getting thoroughly soaked, we added a series of one-shot drips and impacts that can be used to easily create your own aqua percussion or uniquely wet sound effects.
Once we warmed up by the fire, we sound-designed 58 ambient pads, atmospheres, drones, and environments using the raw source content. These can be played on their own as synth pads, leads, and plucks, or blended in with the field recordings and SFX for a polished, production-ready mix. Overall, Rainsong allows you to layer custom electric soundscapes, perform water-based synthesis, and generate a sonic storm of creativity.
