Steel Water Bottle is a found percussion library that captures the unique sounds of a well-loved stainless steel bottle. This flask has the character of a weather-worn old sailor, complete with dents, dings, and a grand story for each one. We extracted every tone we could imagine: Grabs, knocks, pokes, rings, ring mutes, slaps, sloshes, and pings. Each set has a unique timbre that can be played by itself or combined with other percussive sounds. We recorded this gem up close in wide stereo to give you a first-person experience of playing the instrument, with an intimate and enveloping sound. Finally, we created a wide selection of ambient soundscapes, pads, and drones from the source content to take this hydration station to new depths.
