The Sonoris DDP Player is a versatile, standalone DDP playback application, designed for mastering engineers and audio professionals. It enables the import and playback of DDP 2.00 image files and Cue Sheet (.cue) files, allowing users to audition gaps between tracks, check PQ codes, and review CD-Text, ISRC, and MCN data. This tool ensures RedBook compliance by allowing users to validate projects using the built-in Check Project function, which tests the imported DDP image against RedBook specifications.
The DDP Player supports Enhanced CDs, a format that includes both audio and data. You can seamlessly playback Enhanced CDs like regular audio CDs in normal players, but when opened on a PC or Mac, the data session will appear as an extra drive. This feature is especially useful for including additional content such as images, videos, or program files alongside audio.
Key Features:
- Universal DDP Reading: Import DDP 2.00 files created by any software, including Bias Peak, Sonic Studio, SADiE, Sequoia, and Pyramix, and review tracks, gaps, and metadata.
- Enhanced CD Support: Supports playback and review of Enhanced CDs with extra data sessions, allowing you to check how the CD behaves on different devices.
- iOS Version: An iOS version of the DDP Player is included, with DropBox support for easy DDP file import and playback on iPhones and iPads.
