BHS LA River is the TH-U expansion library, signed by Big Hairy Sounds, seeking to recreate the 80’s and 90’s tones of Skid Row*, John Sykes*, Saigon Kick*, and others, based on Rivera TBR-1 SL* amplifiers.
Key Features:
- Rivera TBR-1 SL*: An all-in-one stereo tube rack series, rack mount guitar head.
- Classic Marshall 1960B* cab: Equipped with Greenback and V30 speakers, captured with classic API preamps.
- Signature Album Tones: From the early 80’s to the late 90’s, delivering iconic guitar sounds.
The library contains 43 Rigs, meticulously captured using the above gear, and includes 25 patches focused on recreating famous 80’s and 90’s album guitar tones.
This library requires one of the following TH-U versions: TH-U Full, TH-U Rock, TH-U Metal, or TH-U Funk and R&B.

Both the Windows and Mac versions of TH-U Full can be authorized on up to three computers and one USB stick with a simple one-click software procedure, no hardware key needed. Compatibility includes AudioUnit, VST, AAX32 (ProTools 10.3.5 and above), AAX64 (ProTools 11 and 12) plugins, and a standalone application. Note: Both 32bit and 64bit are natively supported for all systems.
