BHS METLX – TH-U Rig Library

BHS METLX is the TH-U expansion library created by Big Hairy Sounds that recreates the iconic tones of 80’s and 90’s guitar legends like Zakk Wylde*, Warren DiMartini*, Paul Gilbert*, and others. This library is based on the Metaltronix GP-1000* and SP-1000* rack preamps and power amps, as well as the M-1000* amplifier.

• Extensive Collection: Includes 70 Rigs and 31 presets designed to capture the essence of 80’s and 90’s hard rock and metal guitar tones.
• Authentic Gear: Rigs captured from renowned amplifiers such as Metaltronix GP-1000*, Metaltronix M-1000*, and Marshall JCM800 & Silver Jubilee*.
• Signature Tones: Recreates the tones of guitar legends like Zakk Wylde*, Warren DiMartini*, and Paul Gilbert*.
• Symphonic 90 Effect: Includes a new modulation rack effect that reproduces the iconic Yamaha-style chorusing effect used in the late 80s and early 90s.

• Metaltronix GP-1000*: One of the original single-channel high gain preamps, used extensively by Zakk Wylde and other metal masters for its tight gain and signature mid-range.
• Metaltronix M-1000*: A two-channel head used by rock and metal gods during the late 80s, known for its loud and high gain evolution of modded British heads.
• Marshall JCM800 & Silver Jubilee*: Essential amplifiers to round out the collection of Zakk Wylde style tones.

The library also includes 31 patches focused on recreating famous 80’s and 90’s hard rock and metal guitar tones.

SYMPHONIC 90 EFFECT INCLUDED! This effect reproduces the unique Yamaha-style chorusing effect heard on iconic albums like Ozzy Osbourne’s “No Rest for the Wicked” and “No More Tears,” and Nirvana’s “Nevermind.”
