BHS Studio Ace is the TH-U expansion library created by Big Hairy Sounds that recreates the 80’s and 90’s tones of studio guitar ace Dann Huff*, whose tone is based on Mesa*, Peavey*, Kasha*, and modified Marshall* amplifiers.

- Mesa Studio Preamp*: A classic studio staple delivering exquisite clean and fantastic dirty tones, powered by 2150 and 2:90 power amps.
- Kasha Rockmod*: A two-channel preamp from a renowned Los Angeles amp designer, featured on countless hits and albums, powered by a 2150 power amp.
- Peavey Classic 50*: Known for its fat and juicy tones, a hallmark of the 90’s.
- Modified Marshall*: Versatile tones ranging from classic rock to aggressive searing leads.
- Micropitch Pedal: Reproduces the typical ’80s and ’90s chorusing effect by detuning one channel over the other using a pitch shifter, essential for Eventide-style modulation.
The library also includes 58 patches focused on recreating the typical ’80s and ’90s studio tones.
This library is loaded into TH-U Full or one of its Editions.

Both the Windows and Mac versions of TH-U Full can be authorized on up to three computers and one USB stick with a simple one-click software procedure, no hardware key needed. Note: From version 1.1.3 only 64bit are natively supported for macOS 10.15 Catalina compatibility.
