The Oberheim TVS Pro – a duophonic legend, reborn with modern power.

Originally introduced in 1975 by Tom Oberheim, the TVS – Two Voice Synthesizer – broke ground by allowing musicians to play two completely independent voices simultaneously. Its warm, harmonically rich sound and pioneering design made it a favorite of artists like Martin Gore, Adrian Utley, Peter Baumann, Lorn, The Prodigy, and Nils Frahm.

Now reimagined in plugin form, the GForce Oberheim TVS Pro revives this iconic instrument with modern enhancements while maintaining the authentic character that defined the original. Developed in collaboration with Oberheim, this software version expands the expressive possibilities through advanced modulation, a dual 16-step sequencer, and studio-quality effects.

At its heart are two fully modelled SEMs, each providing:

• Two VCOs with pulse and sawtooth waveforms
• Legendary multi-mode filter
• Two ADS envelope generators
• One LFO

Every circuit has been emulated with care to retain the analog feel and subtle imperfections of the hardware. Enhancements include a third VCO/LFO per SEM, as well as velocity and aftertouch support—features not present in the original hardware. With over 400 converted patches from the GForce SEM and 220+ brand-new presets, you’ll have a vast palette of rich, expressive sounds at your fingertips.
