The PS-20 is an ultra-realistic, polyphonic, hot-rodded tribute to Korg’s renowned MS-20, delivering the classic, squelchy, screaming sound that defined an era. With its dual highpass/lowpass filters, the PS-20 faithfully recreates the MS-20’s signature raunchiness. Beyond the iconic filters, the PS-20’s modular-style patch panel has been reconfigured to add much-desired in/out patch points, streamline the original’s confusing terminology, and introduce new features that significantly enhance usability.
Every element of the PS-20 has been “souped up” with advanced features, including 16-note polyphony, a unique three-layer, eight-step sequencer with flexible CV outs, and integrated effects such as a beastly distortion, modulation echo with stereo spread, and lush digital reverb with spring and plate emulations. The PS-20 is one of the most quirky and unique instruments we’ve released, boasting sometimes unpredictable filter behavior and a highly flexible patch panel and sequencer. The creative possibilities are endless, making the PS-20 a tool for producing countless “happy accidents” in your music.
