Eko Digit captures the quintessential sounds of an early 70’s synth, great for conjuring those nostalgic vibes that we’ve all grown to love over the years. This library is perfect for film and video game composers looking to recreate the sounds of classic video game soundtracks. The Eko Finger 200 is a vintage 61-key synthesizer built by the Italian electronics company Eko back in the early 70s. It has all the time-worn tones you’d expect from a synth of this era with voice tabs like flutes, clarinet, horn, string, piano, harpsichord, magic chords, and more.
We sampled these core sounds with infinite sustains, tight staccatos, and key down/up SFX that allow you to make percussive grooves or blend in for added realism. We’ve also created 20 FX presets and 20 sound-designed synth ambient pads & atmospheres from the raw source to give you a wide range of tonal colors to choose from while maintaining the signature character of this groovy instrument.
We’ve packed the GUI with lots of great sound-shaping controls that give you the flexibility to warp the sound in many ways. You have control over Volume, Attack, Release, Transient Offset, Vibrato, and Octave layering. The “Glide” control slider allows you to play legato and portamento leads. You’ll also find an adaptable LFO system, with selectable LFO shape, modulation target parameter, speed, intensity, tempo-syncing, and fade-in time. You can also apply your choice of 13 lowpass, high-pass, and FX filters, with assignable modulation control options, including velocity, modwheel, expression, after-touch, key position, and step-sequencer table control. Additionally, you can use our customizable arpeggiator, with a built-in velocity sequencer table and control over arp direction, note timing, swing, randomization, and duration.
