Soundiron's Elektronik 25 captures the rare, historic sounds of the unique Elektronika EM-25, a Soviet-era polyphonic synthesizer. Manufactured in the Soviet Union, the EM-25 has become a collector’s item. It features a 4-octave keyboard and various knobs to control the envelope, modulation, and filter. Elektronik 25 offers sustains, staccatos, and a collection of FX pad sounds. The instrument articulations were recorded in wide stereo and direct line-in. Over forty evolving atmospheric pads were crafted from the source content to enhance usability. This library provides a rare glimpse into Soviet-era synthesizers and can enrich any composition with its rich string sounds.

We’ve packed the GUI with extensive sound-shaping controls, giving you the flexibility to warp the sound in many ways. You have control over Volume, Attack, Release, Transient Offset, Vibrato, and Octave layering. The "Glide" control slider allows for legato and portamento leads. Additionally, there is an adaptable LFO system with selectable LFO shape, modulation target parameter, speed, intensity, tempo-syncing, and fade-in time. You can apply your choice of 13 lowpass, high-pass, and FX filters with assignable modulation control options, including velocity, modwheel, expression, after-touch, key position, and step-sequencer table control. The customizable arpeggiator includes a velocity sequencer table and control over arp direction, note timing, swing, randomization, and duration. A key and scale lock system is included to constrain notes to common scales and keys for easy melodic composition and live performance.

The interface is rounded out by a modular FX rack panel with 18 different DSP effect modules that can be assigned in any of the 10 available slots in any order. Effects include classic phaser, flanger, delay, distortion, amp and cab simulators, compressors, EQ, rotator, and more. The Reverb effect includes convolution reverb impulse responses with 99 different rooms, halls, chambers, and outdoor environments, plus another 40 custom FX impulses to transform the sound and open up new musical possibilities. A great bank of FX rack chain factory presets is included to get you started!
