The PSP Impressor is an incredibly accurate, fully-featured compressor designed for processing whole mixes, busses, or single tracks. It emulates the magical classic characteristics of compressors with valve and opto-electronic circuits as well as the modern counterparts. With its highly configurable side-chain, the PSP Impressor is flexible and powerful.

Depending on your side-chain filter settings, you can transform the compressor into a de-esser or reduce the pumping effects often related to heavy kick drums. The plugin also works exceptionally well alongside the PSP Saturator, producing cohesive sounds akin to recordings made on high-end analog hardware. Whether you place the PSP Impressor before or after the PSP Saturator, experimentation is encouraged for achieving the best results.
