PSP VintageWarmer2 is a high-quality digital simulation of an analog-style single or multi-band compressor/limiter. Combining rich, warm analog processing with a straightforward user interface, it comes equipped with a comprehensive library of presets. This plugin is exceptionally flexible, capable of performing both soft-knee compression and brick-wall limiting, making it an essential tool for both mixing and mastering engineers.

Particular attention has been paid to the overload characteristics of DSP VintageWarmer2, allowing the algorithm to generate saturation effects typical of analog tape recorders. In addition, it features professional VU and PPM metering, along with accurate overload indicators, ensuring results of the highest quality.

The PSP VintageWarmer2 version installer contains three versions of the plugin:

  • PSP MicroWarmer: Offers the same sound quality as its counterparts but with a simplified single-band interface optimized for low latency performance on individual tracks.
  • PSP VintageWarmer (LE): A direct descendant of the original PSP VintageWarmer, maintaining low resource usage and latency.
  • PSP VintageWarmer2: This includes the acclaimed FAT double sampling mode for even more accurate analog-sounding processing.

It is highly recommended to use PSP VintageWarmer (LE) or PSP MicroWarmer in multi-tracking applications, unless FAT mode is critical. In comparison, PSP VintageWarmer2 is ideal for mastering sessions or processing groups or master busses.

Key Features:

  • High quality signal processing algorithms
