OTD-2: Analog Bucket-Brigade Tapped Delays by Overloud is your new secret weapon! The Overloud Tapped Delay is a recreation of a unique analog processor that delivers modulating tap delays along with sound-widening effects. With six analog bucket-brigade delays that can be individually switched and panned, you can create custom delay patterns and design astonishing doubling effects on vocal tracks or add warmth and character to any source.

Thanks to OTD-2’s hyper-analog delay circuit, you can replicate the tones of legendary artists like Jimmie Vaughan and Allan Holdsworth. OTD-2 goes beyond traditional delays and chorus, allowing you to create unique modulations and greatly expand the stereo image.

Key Features:

  • Faithful recreation: Delivers the original sound-widening tone.
  • 6-tap delay: Each channel with independent panning control.
  • Stereo operating mode: Separate Left-Right controls for wider soundscapes.
  • Dual-mono, Stereo, and Reverb modes: Creates varied soundscapes.
  • Extended delay time: Up to 1600ms with BPM sync option.

How OTD-2 Works

  • 6 stereo bucket-brigade delay units: Independently panned to left or right channels.
  • Dual LFO circuit: Modulates delayed signal for three-dimensional layering effects.
  • Flexible regeneration circuit: Adds sonic character through flanging and creative resonance effects.
  • Non-harmonic configuration: Creates sound-widening and reverb-like tones, or evenly spaced for rhythmic patterns.
  • Internal compander circuit: Adds unique dynamics to repetitions.

Beyond the Original Hardware

  • 6 Stereo Taps: Assign delay taps to left and right channels separately, switch on/off, and tweak head positioning.
  • Stereo and Reverb Modes: Stereo-reversed (Cross Mode) and multiple taps (Verb Mode) for reverb-like decay.
  • Extended Delay Time: Extended from 55ms to 1600ms, with BPM sync option.
